2. Overview of Our Competitions
2.1 These terms apply to every competition listed on cashcortexcompetitions.com.
2.2 Our competitions may run in different formats. Unless stated otherwise, each entry requires payment.
2.3 Some competitions include a skill-based question (“Competition Question”). If we ask a simple or multiple-choice question, or if we choose not to ask a question at all, a free postal entry option will always be provided.
3. Entering a Competition
3.1 Competition Dates
Each competition opens and closes on the dates shown on the Website. All times follow the London time zone.
3.2 Adjustments to Dates
We may change opening or closing times if required. Any changes will be displayed on the Website. We will never extend a competition purely to sell more entries.
3.3 Entry Deadlines
Entries must reach us before the stated Closing Date and time. Late entries are void, and we cannot refund them.
3.4 Maximum Entries
Every competition has a fixed maximum number of entries, which will be listed on the Website.
3.5 Multiple Entries
You may enter as many times as permitted by the competition rules. Free entries must be submitted one per envelope. Bulk submissions count as just one entry.
3.6 Paid Entry Process
To enter via the Website, you must:
- View the Competition Question (if one is used)
- Complete the online entry form
- Purchase your chosen number of entries
- Submit your answer (if applicable)
3.7 Entry Language
Entries must be submitted in English.
3.8 Confirmation of Paid Entries
If you pay for entries, we will confirm receipt and notify you whether your answer was correct (if required).
3.9 Technical Issues
We are not responsible for entries that fail to send or are delayed or lost due to internet or system errors.
3.10 Contract Formation
By entering, you agree to these terms and enter into a contract with Cash Cortex Competitions Ltd.

Rules for free entries:
- Each entry must be sent in its own envelope.
- Entries must be legible and complete.
- Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.
- Entries must reach us before the Closing Date.
- We do not confirm receipt of free entries.
- If the entry cap is reached before your entry arrives, it will not be included.
4. Selecting the Winner
4.1 All entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question go into a random draw. Incorrect answers do not qualify but will still be charged.
If no question is used, all entrants go into the draw.
The draw will take place within 7 days of the Closing Date.
4.2 Names and entry numbers may appear on a published entry list or be shown during the live draw. If you prefer not to be named publicly, you must tell us by email at least 48 hours before the draw.

5. Eligibility to Enter
5.1 Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except:
- Employees of Cash Cortex Competitions Ltd
- Employees of connected suppliers or partners
- Their immediate household members
5.2 We may require proof of age, identity, or residence. Failure to provide valid proof can result in disqualification.
5.3 We cannot accept automated or incomplete entries.
5.4 We may remove entrants who behave abusively or attempt to undermine the competition.
Syndicates or multiple accounts used to hold tickets are not permitted.
5.5 Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including:
- Discovering after entry that you are ineligible
- Eligibility rules changing
- Disqualification
- Claims of unauthorised use of your account (including minors)
5.6 Any fraudulent or suspicious activity—including hacking, tampering, or altering website code—will result in all entries being voided and a potential ban from future competitions.
6. The Prize
6.1 Prize details (“the Prize”) are listed for each competition on the Website.
6.2 If a Prize becomes unavailable, we may replace it with one of equal or greater value.
6.3 We do not guarantee the accuracy, condition, or value of any Prize details.
6.4 Some prizes may be supplied by third-party partners.
6.5 Cash alternatives are not guaranteed unless we state otherwise or circumstances require it.
6.6 Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred.
6.7 Vehicle Prizes
If the Prize is a vehicle:
- The vehicle is provided as seen, with no warranties.
- MOT will be supplied if required.
- Insurance and road tax are the winner’s responsibility.
- You must have a valid licence to drive the vehicle.
- Safe and legal operation of the vehicle is entirely your responsibility.
- Protective gear (e.g., helmets for motorcycles) is not included.
6.8 Cash Cortex Credit
If a Prize includes Cash Cortex Credit, it can only be used on our Website.
You may withdraw credit as cash once your balance reaches £100 or more.
7. Winner Contact and Publication
7.1 Our decision is final.
7.2 We will attempt to contact the winner using the details provided. If we cannot reach the winner or the prize is not claimed within 28 days, we may draw a new winner.
7.3 We must be able to demonstrate that a legitimate award took place.
We may publish the winner’s name on the Website or provide it to individuals who request it by post.
7.4 If you wish to keep your details private, you must inform us before the Closing Date.
We may still have to provide certain information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.
8. Claiming Your Prize
8.1 Prizes must be claimed personally; third-party collection is not allowed.
8.2 If any of your details change, email us as soon as possible.
8.3 Cash Prizes are paid only into a bank account where the winner is a named or joint account holder.
Failure to provide evidence within 14 days may void your win.
8.4 We are not responsible if you cannot take up the Prize.
9. Our Liability
Except where the law requires otherwise, we are not liable for loss, injury, or damage related to the Prize.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
10. Privacy and Data Use
10.1 Personal data is used only to run the competition or as explained in our Privacy Policy.
10.2 By entering, you agree that we may use your name, photo, and general location for winner announcements unless you opt out before the Closing Date.
10.3 Even if you opt out of publicity, we may still need to provide details to regulatory bodies.
10.4 Additional ID may be required to claim a Prize. If you refuse, you may lose the Prize.
10.5 You may request removal of your data, but this withdraws you from any live competitions with no refund.
11. Other Important Terms
11.1 We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on the Website.
11.2 Any suspected breach may result in removal from current or future competitions.
11.3 We may cancel or amend a competition if unforeseen circumstances require it.
11.4 Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook.
11.5 These terms are governed by English law, and disputes are resolved in English and Welsh courts.
11.6 We recommend saving or printing a copy of these terms.

To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to CashCortex. You will receive one confirmation message, and then no further messages unless you message us again.
